Synopsis: The Gift follows Heather, who returns from England to Jamaica to bury her son Andrew after a street-fight death. She seeks help from her half-sister Bernice, who claims to have “the gift” of speaking to the dead, while Andrew’s sister Janet believes she can reach him in another way. The play explores family loss, spiritual and geographical separation, and the struggle to reconnect across time and distance.
